way back on facebook, i was so vocal on how i wish for Discovery Travel and Living to come knock at my door and hire me as one of their adventurer-employee. i so darn want to experience those adventures and see those tantalizing places. and you know how I'm so in love and engross with traveling and all.. crossing my fingers, i really really wish-hope-and pray for that to happen...maybe not now, but too soon! who knows? possibilities are all around, right?
i can't totally explain the reason behind all these..but i guess my desire is innate. i mean growing up, i know for a fact that there are so much that the world can offer,,this thought led to my wild dream of having my pair of wings and fly, which eventually made me envy the birds and their freedom to see lot of places in an instant. i remembered i was five then. but up to now, nineteen, this thought is my stress relief. my comforting thought :)
and for this reason, allow me to share with you five places that captivate my heart. i have never been to these places yet, but by personal interest and eye-catching scenery default, i am definitely loving them!
1. ALASKA
this is Wonder Lake, Alaska. this photo brought out a peaceful impact to me. the pine trees, river, and mountains are so appealing i could almost imagine feeling the cool breeze around. you know the song Colors of the Wind by Vanessa Williams? the one being played in the famous movie Pocahontas? well whenever i hear of the place Alaska it's like my brain was programmed to automatically associate this place to the song. oh how bizarre...
2. HAWAII
the very main reason on why i picked Hawaii as one of my loved places is because of its famous beaches.beaches. the beach! and anybody who is a water-person like me can totally relate to what i mean.don't get me wrong. i love Philippine beaches. but let's face it. just take a look at this photo. good weather, blue, crystal clear waters, dull yellow sands..for me, the beach is the perfect place to unwind: strolling in the seashore, go swimming, and making new friends. tell me who can't achieve their relaxation regimen in this kind of ambiance?
3. NEW YORK
welcome to the city that never sleeps! the big apple. the fashion capital of the world; where all kinds of people descend. with new york, i am looking forward to the city lights! the ambiance of the huge city at night.. i don't know,,but whenever i see city lights or even think of it, new york pops out of nowhere in the midst of my thoughts like the place was just a minute-drive away from me..and how i love and value city lights! however i can't state specific reasons on why i love it..it's just that every time i see it, i am at ease. i feel relax and peaceful deep inside :)
4. ITALY
i am in love with Italy's structure, it's sense of ART. and i am quite fascinated with its culture and its people. and i am taking into account its food varieties as well as the gondola ride! Italians are known to be best cooks in the world with their famous pasta dishes..that is why whenever i heard of Italy i think of good food and their one-of-a-kind lifestyle. someday, i will experience Italian living and realize my gondola dream :)
5. PARIS!
from Paris with love! this would top everything in my list. this is my most favorite. and i am proud to be one of those people who just can't get over Paris. the city of love. the city of literature. the city of the famous Eiffel tower. :) i know I'll meet up with you, too soon! may God bless me and you :)
